TEAM Financial Asset Management, LLC, advisor to the Fund

Team Financial Asset Management, LLC located in Harrisburg, PA, follows a strategy designed in 2001 and actively practiced since 2003 for separately managed accounts serviced by TEAM Financial Managers. TEAM Financial Managers, an independent registered investment advisor with the SEC since 1994, manages more than $125 milion for private clients. In addition, it offers financial planning, estate planning, education and insurance products to its clients.

Our Strategy

Our goal is to provide investors with positive absolute returns in all market cycles to meet the Fund's objective of high total investment return. We strive to achieve this objective through a combination of appreciation in capital and income by employing a flexible global long/short strategy.

Risk Appetite: We believe market prices over the short- to intermediate-term are driven by the cyclical swings of investor risk appetite from fear to greed and back again. To take advantage of this phenomenon and navigate such "crowd madness," we employ complex systems analysis similar to that used in physics and mathematics to analyze the non-linear swings that are inherent in the aggregate investor psyche.

Global Trends/Active Management: We use a fusion of fundamental, technical, quantitative and complex systems analysis to identify global trends and economic cycles. We begin with top down/multi asset class exposure decisions to target what we believe to be the asset classes best positioned to benefit our shareholders. These asset classes are then augmented by the flexibility to hedge and take short position as needed.

Flexibility Among Asset Classes: In addition to traditional stocks and bonds, at particular times we look to commodities, currencies and precious metals. Where appropriate, we also invest in ETFs and ETNs to navigate the market cycles. At all times, we remain flexible and employ tactical and strategic hedging strategies to manage risk and volatility in the portfolio and keep us on track to manage to an absolute return.

Seek the Best Securities at the Best Price in the Best Time: After identifying asset classes through our macro analyses of the global economy, we then look for companies we believe are leaders in their industries, as evidenced by their strategies and product mix. We assess valuation, looking not only to low price but also to good value. Key to security selection is our complex analysis tools that identify what we believe is the best time for purchase.

Results: Our "go anywhere" approach is one that is critical to our management style. It allows us to look for growth potential regardless of asset class or style box.

Important notes

An investment in an exchange-traded fund (ETF) or an exchange-traded note (ETN) generally presents the same primary risks as an investment in a conventional fund (i.e., one that is not exchange traded) that has the same investment objectives, strategies, and policies. The price of an ETF can fluctuate up or down, and the Fund could lose money investing in an ETF/ETN if the prices of the securities owned by the ETF/ETN go down. In addition, ETFs may be subject to the following risks that do not apply to conventional funds: (i) the market price of an ETF’s shares may trade above or below their net asset value; (ii) an active trading market for an ETF’s shares may not develop or be maintained; or (iii) trading of an ETF’s shares may be halted if the listing exchange’s officials deem such action appropriate, the shares are delisted from the exchange, or the activation of market-wide “circuit breakers” (which are tied to large decreases in stock prices) halts stock trading generally.

Investments in commodities may be affected by overall market movements, changes in interest rates, and other factors such as weather, disease, embargoes and international economic and political developments. Commodities are assets that have tangible properties, such as oil, metals, and agricultural products. These instruments may subject the Fund to greater volatility than investments in traditional securities.

The investment return and principal value of an investment in the Fund will fluctuate so that an investor’s shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost.

The fund may invest in foreign securities which involves greater volatility and political, economic and currency risks and differences in accounting methods.
